THIS IS HOW THE PROGRAM WILL WORK:
Spiraling foundational skill focus based on common core standards
Students will meet with mentor minimum twice weekly*
*Other sessions may be added based on student need
Ongoing priority attention given to developing deep understanding & building academic strength in the learning strands listed below at each session:
• Reading & Decoding Skills strength
• Reading Fluency strength
• Vocabulary strength
• Comprehension & Reading Analysis strength
• Development of Skills in All 5 Mathematics Strands
- Number sense, properties, and operations.

Time will be given to focusing on both reading and math objectives. Because literacy is the basis for mathematical understanding, raising literacy competence will form the basis for all reading and math coaching. The program will follow along with the curriculum at your child’s grade level.
Weekly grade level standards focus week by week preparing students for demonstrating mastery.
